Thy Mask
Thy mask is strong, But stronger am I, Why is it that when I try to see past it, That is when you hide? So let go of your mask and let me see, The true soul that was made by Me! Let me be your guide, And know that I am always by your side.Be not afraid for Me to look upon you, For My love is strong no matter what you do. So let your mask go and let your inner light shine, And know through it all you are a blessed child of Mine.
Thy mask is cracking I see, Fear not this is only seen by Me! To others you may wear your mask, I will look the other direction you need only ask. Others may be blind, But you are not that kind. You will try to hide from everyone that you meet, And if I know you, you shall never admit defeat. For you are My child, So beautiful and wild.
Do not think you can fool Me with this weak facade, For I know every path you have trod. I know every thought you have had in your head, And that you always ask when you need to be lead. I know of all your doubts and fears, But I have carried you through all of these years.
So remove thy mask and let Me see, The pure soul that was made by Me!
