Thy Grace Hath Made Me Whole

Trapped
Tearing at the threads
Trying to tear through
Trying to be free

Suffocating
Silently sucking air
Slipping away into sorrow
Sliding down and sinking under

Done
Drowned
Dead
Done

None
No more
No use
No good

But sparks
Shining
Shimmering
Saving

Wanting
Wanting to win
Willing to work harder
Wishing He would take the wheel

Turned
Turned to the Lord
Trusting he will tear through
Trusting he will take me

Saved
Savior saved me
Suffocated my scared thoughts
Saving my soul from submersing into the sea

Grace
Grace gave me life
God gave me a gift
God gave the gift of grace and saved me
