Thus Begins the Fall
As hot days end, make way new memories!
Flowers pulled up, new ones planted instead
Prepared with the coming of a cool breeze
Green meadows fade, leaves turn to gold and red
Seeds will fill birds for the season ahead
For this is when fruits and nuts will abound
The bears will gorge on tasty berries found
As creatures prepare to bid Nature’s call
Squirrels will hide even more nuts in the ground
When cool breezes blow, thus begins the Fall.
