Thug On My Shoulders

Maybe I need some thugs in my life.
too hold me down when i'm feeling
sad. Maybe I need a thug on my shoulders.
A place to go when I ain't got noone, he's
always there even though he make his money
illegally he still respects me and promises
that he will protect me. He will raise his voice
when he is mad but a thug never touched me with his
hands. I love him for being my only, the guy I can
talk to when nobody's holding me. I can run to him
in the mist of it all and know that regarless he will
except my life. I know he understands becauses he's used
to the stuggle, living life on the edge but still trying
to get into college. I love that about him a driven man
who knows what he wants. I have a thug on my sholders and
I ain't never giving him up. We may argue from time to time
and I may not speak to him for months but when he returns
it's like he never left. I don't know what I would do without
him. He cheated a couple of times but I still can't cut him out
of the box. He is special and even though my girl friends say
he's no good I don't hear them. He may have 20 girls on the side
but my name is the one that is tattoed on his arms. He never lets
me leave the house without being flyy, spends the money he works
hard for to give me shopping sprees and damn it he treats me good.
I have a thug on my shoulders and when I close my eyes and sleep
at night he's all I need to get by.
