Through Whos Eyes

Through Who’s Eyes

A child's mind burns , nightmares pierce through the night,
Yielding to pain as clouds appear through starlight,
A soul drugged and burned with the support of a crutch,
How could a child’s pain still hurt so much?
Heartbeat filled wishes that reach me as such,
Praying my offspring will imprint by touch,
The pain, the hurt, and love we all share,
Praying an angel will teach them what's rare,
So love, light, and joy found them at last.
An angelic-faced angel stars in their cast,
So a thought buried deep as a wish and a wave,
Her heart sparks the truth it’s my life that she’ll save.
