Through the Pain

Being a teenager is hard.
Sometimes rough as rakes.
I'll make it through the pain,
No matter what it takes.

I won't back down.
I'll stand tall in the rain.
No matter what it takes,
I'll make it through the pain.

It's funny how people lie.
I'm tired of all these fakes.
I'll make it through the pain,
No matter what it takes.

There is so much pointless drama.
You get linked to it by a chain.
No matter what it takes,
I'll make it through the pain.

I'll smile through it all,
Though my heart aches.
I'll make it through the pain,
No matter what it takes.

So much to lose.
Not much to gain.
No matter what it takes,
We'll make it through the pain.
