Through the Mist
Through The Mist
Too many years have made their mark.
She begs to be set free,
To fly again, and hold Love's spark
unleashed, most ardently.
Can love transcend all time and space,
Breach bound'ries heavy laid,
Assault the heart's repentant grace
and steal locked mem'ries paid?
He strides, revealing through the mist,
Forgotten treasured scenes,
Reviving lips he once had kissed
'till Death cut vast ravines.
Here in that twilight time and place
Where all things magic thrive,
Two hearts, as one, beat face to face
embracing love --alive.
