Through the Glass

You were looking at me
Through the pains of glass
Wondering how long
This love will last
So I asked myself
Will you someday cast
Me away
Right now
It feels like forever
But maybe it was never
Meant to be
I won’t allow myself to believe it
You have my heart
And I could never retrieve it
Even if I could
What would I do
I waited my whole life
It had always been you
