Through the Eyes of a Child
A face peers out a bedroom window,
As the skies release a heavy snow.
Mesmerised by its simple beauty,
Eyes watch the depth begin to grow.
A chrystal carpet covers the earth,
Visions of snowmen dance through his head.
Alas, no construction begins,
This child confined while sick in bed.
