Through the Ages
Through the Ages
By Franklin Price

Through the ages
Smiles and tears
Moved in stages
Through the years
Childhood, youth
Middle, old
Long in tooth
I've grown quite bold
Say what I will
I must confess
Say what I feel
Who I address
Satisfied
With who I am
Nothing to hide
Still give damn
Maybe more
Than any time
Working before
Not so sublime
Can be just me
With loving wife
Where I should be
This age in life
