Through That Rising Sun

Through that rising sun,
I shall rise again.
On that hallowed path, I shall again run.

Bleeding with that shot from the gun.
I can see the rays again,
Through that rising sun.

Just when I thought, that I was done,
I woke once more, to conquer it all, and so
On that hallowed path, I shall again run.

Though my troubles might weigh a ton,
I can see those dreams, again
Through that rising sun.

There shall be a day, when I will have won.
Until that moment though,
On that hallowed path, I shall again run.

I’ll whistle a merry tune,
When I’m walking on that dune.
Through that rising sun,
On that hallowed path, I shall again run.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
