Hey, is that you?
Is that you looking at me?
I feel you sitting there.
Hey, I feel you,
I feel you looking at me,
reading my words as you stare.
I am a famous poet
have you read my works?
Do you know me?
I paint with words of art
making them come to life
just for you to see.
I reach out
Through My Words
so you will know me.
I can reach deeply
inside of you
and really touch your soul.
Causing a fondness
just for me
as our friendship will grow.
Come travel with me
we’ll be together
a brief journey of our life.
I will comfort you
and for a moment
I will ease your strife.
Through My Words
within your minds eye
a vision of your dreams.
A real life experience
written just for you
better than it seems.
For a brief moment
I get to share with you
would be really great.
Together if we will
erase this ugly thing
that we all call hate.
For a brief moment
together we both can
make a better place.
When we come back
you will feel
a smile on your face.
Sometimes when you read
you just might hear
my poet speaking voice.
Touching you softly
Through my Words
gives me total rejoice.
I am here
looking at you
while you are sitting there.

that you slowly read
as you sit and stare...
