Through It All I Love You

Remember that day like yesterday
You were asking me if we can be
Shyly heading to my destination
I said “we’ll just have to see”

See I left the one I was with
To see what you were like
You held captive my attention
Because you were just my type

The personality of an angel
With a smile straight from above
And relevant to being heaven sent
It was you who showed me how to love

You turned me on in every way
It was like we were meant to be
Had to talk to you like everyday
It’s like you were meant for me

Though their were only two of us
Problems was another person
And it got between the two of us
Constantly and left us hurting

So many things said to each other
For the most we didn’t mean
And I had a tendency to cause a mess
That I just couldn’t clean

Over and over I asked for forgiveness
And repeatedly you gave it
Told me “just tell me the truth
And the excuses you can save it”

But every time I hurt you
You still stood by me and was my girl
So when you still said you loved me
To me it meant the world

But remember this was a relationship
And part of it you shared
And we both needed each other
And at times we both weren’t there

And they say you miss people the most
When there gone but look where it becomes to
And even though it’s not the same
I just want to say I Love You
