Through Eyes Opened
Through eyes opened
I see the world how it is
colours mixed into swirls of grey
blue skies faded
night skies empty
pain and death at every door
Through eyes opened
I see what I've become
a shadowy spectre drifting aimlesly
personality faded
emotionless, empty
pain and death nearing my door
I close my eyes
I glance the world after this
unimaginable shades light every shadow
vivid cloudless skies
no dark, no night
love and peace at every door
I keep my eyes closed
I see you now
my bright shining light
never faded
never empty
A beautiful angel at my door.
