Through Death

I can't begin to feel your pain
Or heal your heart with rhyme
When someone dies your whole world cries
The only relief is time

You miss their smile, their gentle touch
Each morning when you awake
You sit and stare without them there
Your heart begins to break

There's no one there to greet you
And say, "Dear how was your day?"
You're all alone with the Tv on
Just to pass the time away

Each night you bow your head to pray
And thank the Lord above
All your fear will disappear
Surrounded by His love

Your memories now your closest friend
You're counting every breath
Though you're all alone you must go on
To live again through death
