Through Agony
a battered soul
forced to choose
between the way
dark paths obtuse
Accept defeat
no strain to bare
except the pain
is nothing fair?
why must I hurt
while others live
my heart has ridden
your callous shiv
the path I follow
seems dim at first
but light preceding
unrivaled thirst
step into swamp of sorrows
blight
swimming through agony
with the temptation to
end the suffering
end my suffering
and drown in sorrow
