Through a Child's Eyes

The mound of fresh soil, which does protrude. Black clouds pregnant with foreboding, the heavens reflect the mood. I feel all alone here, so lost and subdued. Through a child’s eyes and thus viewed, the world’s skewed. ---------------------------- Published 1 November 2017 (written in 2013)

John, a very touching and tender sad write. Your melancholy imagery sets the somber tone and feeling of this child being lost and alone. Fantastic and enjoyed!

Hi John, I really enjoyed "Through a Child's Eyes". It really hit home. The last four lines summed up your well written Nonet very well. Thanks for visiting me today:-) Alexis

Thank you for the very kind comments, Alexis (and thanks for the nudge my memory needed to retrieve this from my "oldies"). All the best, John.
