Three Tarnished Nails

Three tarnished nails, and a crown of thorns
Would be placed upon His brow.
He died back then, for all of our sins
So we could live in the here and the now.

The three tarnished nails, nailed His feet and his hands
To that old wooden cross with all shame.
The most powerful King that ever lived
And Jesus was His name.

Three tarnished nails, and a spear in His side,
Blood and water rushed out on the ground
He died for us, so with Him we could abide,
And He died so the lost could be found.

The three tarnished nails stands for three small words
That mean so much when you say them together.
“I Love You”, is the message they give
Now we could be with Him forever.
