Three Second Miracle

All life has a hidden secret
some of you may or may not know
There are miracles all around us
We all get one before we go
It’s a truly amazing gift
handed down from up above
It’s our last three seconds here on Earth
when God shows us, we are truly loved
Once our heart stops beating
time as we know it, no longer applies
There are no words that could ever explain it
but trust me, you’ll be pleasantly surprised
Within this three second miracle
you will experience every emotion known to man
All fear and pain will leave your body
don’t try to understand it, none of us can
This poem is not fiction
I’ll now explain so you understand
My life ended ten years ago
I briefly stepped outside of this mortal land
I was thirty-nine years young
a heart attack caused me to code
I experienced first-hand this miracle
then I was brought back for reasons untold.

Jennifer Proxenos August 6, 2020 at 12:15 PM Amazing Mark - it certainly was not your time - God still had plans for you. I have seen three people die , my mom, my dad and my father in law, all were very sick and my dad was only 65. I saw fear in t his eyes, my Dad was a religions man he had cancer but a heart attack was what killed him, maybe it was the pain from the heart attack that hurt him. I studied for 5 years and passed my honors in Biblical not theological studies. I applaud your faith, I believe, but fear death. I will say the pain was the worst I could ever imagine but right at the end when you come to the realization that you are going to die. There is a peace that comes over you. Imagine when you were a child and something happened that scared you. Your Mom or your Dad put their arms around you and said it was going to be alright. It kind of felt like that. I could definitely feel a presence and it was scary anymore.
