Three Magic Rocks

Three magic rocks

I held three magic rocks in my hands

That I found in an old building
that looked like a castle

And I started rolling the magic rocks
over and over 
and over again through my palms

And this is when everything 
became absolutely amazing

Because they would 
allow me to 
to travel through time

But they would also 
give me the opportunity

To do something

That would truly 
benefit  
all of man kind

So I took a leap of faith

And I went into a new  
dimension 
and a different realm 
in space and in  time
with my three magic 
rocks in hand

And I went into the future
without any problems

And I avoided everyone

And I went to the 
largest library 
that I could find

So that I could find 
a cure
for every disease 

That is out there

And when I found 
what I needed to find

I gathered all the information
that I would need 

And I took all the information
back to the present time 

And I found a Doctor that I could trust

And I gave all the information to him

Because I knew that he had 
the peoples best interest in mind

Because it wasn’t about 
riches or glory or fame to him

Because he already 
had everything

And all I wanted in return 
from him is that he would 
never reveal my name to anyone

Because I didn’t 
want the recognition

And if he did 
mention 
my name

I reminded him

That I always 
had the option

To go back in time
by just a few days

So that I could give 
all the information
to someone else 
who was more deserving

But he never revealed my name

And he always kept the peoples
best interest in mind

So my job was done 

And that’s when I made the decision

That if these three magical rocks
ever got into the wrong hands

That it could mean the demise of everything

So I decided to put them all back 
where I had found them

I do wonder if someone else would have found 
the three magic rocks like I had
if they would have done the same things that I had done
or would they have done something that would only benefit them?
