Three Little Words

Hold them deep inside Or else they will escape, Hide them with a hard control Until its time to wake. Doubt and fear surround it It’s desperation’s breath The deadliest of poisons Another tiny death. For it’s a painful lesson When brought about too fast So guard them like a jealous man Or it will never last.
