Three Little Coffins

Three Little Coffins

Three little coffins
End to end.
Placed in the graveyard
Of my soul.
Death reigns.
My story told.

Just yesterday I lived.
Drew water from the well.
Laughed, cooked,
Cleaned dirty ears.
Alive, waiting for
My warrior's roar.
The victory cheer

Today I leave
The shards of my heart
Broken with my pots.
Numb my pain. Only
The dead remain.
