Three Haiku

Haiku
A fall rose alone
Insipid pink and frozen
Winter is coming

Haiku
Playing the fiddle
Under a street lamp´s sorrow
Residue of dreams

Haiku
Snow covered garden
Plastic roses on the table
Look obscene

I liked the stark imagery of the last one, Jan. And the middle one is really beautiful!

I love to start the morning with a cup of coffee and your latest poetry. All three haiku are splendid, especially the rose pieces. My mother was the only one to use the word insipid regularly. clue to my personality (well not that bad). love, Kathy
