I did not seek earthly wealth or fame
My life has been rich and full, indeed
I have tried to fairly play the game

In truth, many people know my name
Seems I have sown plenty of good seed

I had the privilege of a loving faithful wife
We worked daily side by side together
We were always careful to avoid strife,
Negative attitudes, enemies, and lowlife
Having a strong belief in the good life
We planned to be together forever
I had the privilege of a loving faithful wife
We worked daily side by side together.

It has been utter joy planting good seed
In this garden I proudly call my life
Along the way I helped some souls to feed
It has been utter joy planting good seed

I have sought to bring pleasure, not strife
