Three Cheers For Poetry Soup

My friends on P-Soup are loyal and true

Every morning I rush to my computer

To read all their happy upbeat comments

And suddenly the sun breaks through the clouds

At times, I must admit I have thought of leaving

When everyday trials cloud my vision

But then I quickly come to my senses

I would certainly have withdrawal sysmtoms

Similar to those folks abstaining from alcohol

I would have to join “P-Soup Anonymous” for help

To get me through the difficult and trying times

Without the aid of friends and family

I'd be a broken man aimlessly wandering the streets

As I sit here writing, I am convinced

This will never ever come to pass

Alright, I'll admit it... I'm obsessed

There! I feel much better now

Admitting I have a problem is half the battle

So it seems I'll be here for the foreseeaable future

Thank you all my dear friends

And three cheers for Poetry Soup!

I've been slow this week while painting around the front door a pretty deep blue trim color. Dragon's been helping and you know how he can slow things down! But I must say, That color does look nice on him! If he keeps spilling my paint every where. I may have to repaint the front of the house, again! And that pretty white column I finished painting?
