Threatening Phone Calls

For two months I've been receiving threatening phone calls.
I haven't done anything to provoke the man, nothing at all.
The Police can't trace the calls because they aren't long enough.
I'm scared out of my wits, the last two months have been rough.
He says that he's going to drag me into an alley and cut my throat from ear to ear.
I look over my shoulder everywhere I go, I'm a man who has been living in fear.
Oh no, he has just arrived on my property with a gun and he says he's going to shoot.
I just shot him with my shotgun, I'll no longer have to live in fear because of that brute.
That Psychopath wanted me dead, that much is clear.
I thank God that I will no longer have to live in fear.

Glad it's fictional, no one should have to live in fear. about 7 months ago, I got unwanted phone calls. Blocked. Lucky, I know a trick or two when it comes to reading incoming calls. True story. I took it to the police. Of course they did nothing. LOL, Enjoyed reading one of your latest poems, Hugs SKAT"
