Thoughts On a Dark Day

The sky is blue but dark clouds lurk underneath, The harvest is done but the soil is still fertile beneath, Darkness falls but it'll soon be day, Monday is here but the week has six more days, Taxi,bus,ship or train the destination is the same, Boxers throw punches but it's still considered a game, Music is noise but it appeases the heart, Nakedness is seen as a taboo but appreciated as art, Black, White,Asian or Indian we all have one life, We are young now but we'll grow old and that's life, The journey is long but be thankful there's a way, I know you'll smile someday even though its not today.
