Thoughts of a Poet
how wonderful to write words
that echo the feelings of myself and by chance
others
how nice to be a part of a group of individuals
who are like minded
bonded
by verbs, conjunction, and rhyming
and put into a form of
a poem
I think it is marvelous to be able to create
to have the gift to share so that
others
can relate on various dimensions
I love this
the fact that we poets
living in the here and now
together
are
one in our creativity and possibly
our energies.
