Thoughts Away

I had a thought
    It flew away
    Was that because
    it's not my day

    Perhaps
    the thought
    came to naught

My thoughts are gone so swiftly I am amazed when one returns and I think "hey, I had that one yesterday".

"I thought I thought a thought but the thought I thought I thought was not the thought I thought I thought. It seems the thoughts I think I think always lead me to rethink the thought I thought I thought and the thought I thought, I think" Old poem from a twisted mind...
