Thoughts Are Burning

Conversations fill you up
While you spill your guts
And a flood of feelings
feels the same
As being drained

An empty stomach
and a full mind
Won't let you sleep at night
If you're not looking for what's missing
It will find you every time

I've been tossing
I've been turning
I've been thinking
Thoughts are burning
I've been feeling
Something different
Since peering
At your diction

They say if my love is real
Then I'll be willing to wait
While days move at a glaciers pace
And a month is what a year takes

There's no one I want more by my side
To fight,love,and live life
There's no one I want more to be my wife
Than you when the time is right

I've been tossing
I've been turning
I've been thinking
Thoughts are burning
I've been feeling
Something different
Since peering
At your diction
