Thoughts and Prayers
Thoughts and Prayers
This life can be hard and not very fair
You are in our thoughts and specifically this prayer
We store many memories to help keep us sane
Recall them all often, they’ll help ease the pain
Such a tragic loss has no rhythm or rhyme
There are no magic words that will bring healing with time
Chaos can ensue when life’s order is defiled
There is no greater pain than the loss of a child
A prayer will be sent with the next evening star
May God heal your heart, each battle wound and scar
This plea is for peace in the path set for you
I pray that God’s light turns your black sky to blue
