Thoughts

Thoughts

Thoughts big or small
It doesn’t matter they make my skin crawl

Fat or thin
I can never forget the double chin

Thin makes me feel
Like skipping every meal

Fat makes me feel
Ashamed as my body is concealed

Every decision I make
Is every risk I take

To get well
Under Anorexias spell

Takes every breath and thought
Ties my stomach in a knot

This disorder is not my choice
With anorexias forceful voice

Keep going
The voice keeps growing

Louder and louder
With all its might and power
