Thoughtless

You've stolen my thoughts
This much is true
Going a day without you
Seems so cruel

How bitter I am
When I cannot caress your face
I swear your voice alone can keep me
chaste.

You've stolen my thoughts
With the taste of your lips
As sweet as honey
What gentle bliss?

How passionately I gaze
Into your soulful brown eyes
Longing for your touch
Please do not deny

You've stolen my thoughts
As well as my heart
Please do not return it
To me torn apart

 How fidgety I become
mostly at night
I cannot sleep when your not next to me
What dreadful sight?

You've stolen my thoughts
Left me an emotional mess
Tears flow uncontrollably
To distressed to rest

Oh how wasteful of a day
Full of longing
Unfulfilled thirst for affection
Or attention
Love or lust
I do not know but my thoughts
are gone
Astray
And you my dear are to blame.
