Thought I Could Be

You came to me--

Thought I could be

Everything you wanted me to be;

Now I see the only fool was me.

Down on my knees I cry--I plead;

To hear you say you love me.

Nothing can compare to thee:

You are my everything.

Now I can sing--take all of me this my plea:

Make me everything you wanted me to be.

I could go several different ways with this one. From human to eternal. Nicely done. Keep writing. Sara
