Though You Are

Sing to me thy beauty Whisper to me thy bounty Caress to me thy agony Embrace to me thy merry. Though you are far by sea and continents May we ever be the same as the tide of ocean kisses the sand As the moon shines every night As the beauty of stars illuminate each darkest spots. Though you are loved by many Remember that I once your friend That I once carry you in your heaviest tide That I once rejoice with you in your merriest time. Though you are longed by many Remember that I never ask you to be mine That I was whipped by wind to your spot That I was blessed to be in your sight. Though you are happy with them Remember that I am happier to see you smile. Though you are wanted by many Remember that I never wanted you but I am needing you.
