Though Once I Fell
Each Palm that sways on gentle breeze
Reflects the sun as if to tease
Inviting me to come along
To see the world, to sing my song
The water falls in joyful dance
To tickle thoughts filled of romance
And beckon me to leave the shell
So off I go, though once I fell
Though once I fell, to taste the sand
To wonder why this reprimand
I’m now on course to taste the sky
A turquoise, cotton candy pie
In boundless leaps to top the trees
I’ll hide no more world, if you please
So brace yourself, if you can tell
I’m flying now, though once I fell
