Thou Fallest Hard Thou Fallest Fast
Thou fallest hard thou fallest fast
Thy reign was short it did not last
Thou bid me speed, thou did well
But thou dear Ramheart are doomed to hell
What wavers from yon distant shore
Whilst it returned here never more
I bid thee peace with my farewell
Like sands on seas and oyster shells
Another night, with darkness I lay
Upon the sands of time they say
When comes the clang of yon distant bell
What then at last is death and hell
But just a thought that’s mired away
Into the shape of darkened clay
My wishes vanish, my hope is despair
This day I breath my last free air
I come to give my final pledge
And leap to death from this ledge
Another voice I hear at last
Thou fallest hard thou fallest fast
