Those Things I Said to You Today

Those things I said to You Today,
Thought I'd go to my Grave, and never say!
Love has me spinning fast
Discussing things, not fun, in my past!
Talking to you like a preacher,
Lover, priest, or teacher.
Only thing that I could do,
Is to start with secrets true.
The only way to start a Life,
With you as my Future wife
Is to tell you, from the beginning,
About the person's Heart you're winning.
I told you of things that I'm not proud,
In the car, right out loud!
I couldn't hold them back,
Then suffer the attack
When you found out the Truth
We might fight, nail, and tooth!
You took them in your stride,
As I drove, on our ride.
Those things that I feared,
Might drive you away, once you "heared,"
You seemed to know that I was scared,
As I drove, at me, you stared.
When my confession was all done,
You told me that I'm The One
With whom you want to spend your Life,
Live together, be my Wife!
You wiped away the Fears,
Filled my eyes with fresh Tears!
As I told you from our start,
You have the Power to heal my Heart.
I can truly say
That you operated today,
On my Heart, it was a success,
To its deepest recesses, you can now access.
No more secrets will you find,
Not in my Heart, nor in my Mind!
Only my Undying Love most True,
Residing there for Only You!
