Those Pearls of the Air

Colorful flowers line the ancient trail,
their pastel petals reaching out so frail.

People walking by, a smile to share,
for their sweet perfume, those pearls of the air.

They've done their job well, since garden Eden,
to bring us beauty, and our lives sweeten.

So next time you see, a new spring blossom,
just think to yourself, oh wow, how awesome.

Jewels in the dirt, their beauty to stare,
with a scent so fresh, those pearls of the air.
