Those In Between Days

It’s the in between days
When I’m miles from your face
And I can’t hold you tight in my arms

The suns not as bright
And things are not right
I just need to be where you are

My whole body aches
My hearts full of breaks
I need you to walk through the door

I’m lucky I guess
That I have you to miss
I have never loved anyone more

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

There is a mighty bridge, that stretches from shore to shore up over the quiet lands, of our hate, of our love, up over the muddy waters of our indifference. This bridge is the mighty bridge of the acceptance, of our Creator, of ourselves, of all life for just how this is, and can be, working together with our Creator, with all life. Our Creator will meet, and greet us, there!
