Those

Those who once understood, now don't understand That what used to be a home, is now a house Those voices once so sweet, are now mute That old song once sung, the lyrics now forgotten Those words written, now thrown into the fire That what meant something, means nothing Those who I could count on, now I have ten fingers That what I thought was a dream, is now a harsh reality Those who I thought loved me, are now my enemies That what I thought was real, was actually artificial Those who held me close, are now lost in the distance That what was loved and admired, is now hated Those who said hello, have now said goodbye
