This Year

This year, like everyday, become's a choice,
a life with shadows dark or the light and love
tomorrow can be problems, death and gloom,
tomorrow can be days of daylight fun,
tomorrows, dreams can build a better world,

We know, each day we see it in the press,
the doom and gloom, the death, decay and mess,
the hatred never ending building walls,
around and round, we go, in deaths decay,
building up the hatred every day,

Yet take a look, around you, at your friends,
we do not need, to make, the mess we're in,
we can create, a better world of joy,
by taking kids to parks, to push on swings,
we build a world, of smiling friends and joy,

forget about depression, forget about your pain,
it's time to build, a world, bright and new,
where happiness, abounds around the world,
where anger, is a pain, forgotten fast,
we teach each other, how to make joy last,

We build a world for living,
where children go to school,
where people do not marry little kids,
we build a world for living,
where poverty is gone,

yet, like each day the answers up to you,
I have a world, of cuddles joy and love,
I have a world full, of lovers peace,
I have a world full, of helping others,
I do not make, the hatred in the press.

yet, if you force your women into traps,
creating games, where they don't, have a chance,
destroying them, when they must run away,
you'll never make, a better world, that way,
I do not make the hatred in the press.

Bernard, life is what we make it, people read our facial and body expressions and then take off with it. Love, smile, hugs, peace, and that good old saying "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". A 7, Blessings and have a good weekend. Eve
