This Winter

Who will keep me safe and warm this winter, Who will bring my heart in from the cold? When I am feeling sad and blue this winter, Who'll touch my cheek and seek my hand to hold? Who'll kiss my lips and wrap soft arms around me And whisper loving words I long to hear? Who'll know when I'm alone and come and find me And tell me there is nothing more to fear? I'll try to keep my heart alive and open, Though I feel it growing smaller day by day. But as long as there's a spark, I'll keep on hoping That this winter love will come again my way.

You're very fortunate to have those memories, John. Thanks for stopping by, and, yes, I was a member of FFP for a while, a few years ago. Might be so again, one of these days.

Jim wishing you hope and a special someone to come into your life and bring your spirits up.Just a suggestion there is a great dating sight for seniors Seniorpeoplemeet. Give it a shot there are others that feel like you do. You have nothing to loose but to gain a friend. God bless you my friend and hoping the best for the New Year for you...

Thanks, S O...but I'd settle for a strong case of "like", at this point. Winter is my all-time least favorite season.
