This Time Around

This time around won't be like the rest
I'm gonna take my time and do what's best
Reach for the stars and touch the sky
Soar with the wind in my wings and fly

This time around won't be touch and go
Cause I know what I like and like what I know
I am smart and I'm strong and I know my worth
And will stand out and be counted on this earth

This time around will be up instead of down
No long twisty turns or slow sinking ground
Cause this lost person has now been found
and I refuse to remain captive and be bound

This time around I'm gonna make it through
Gonna do all the things I know I should do
Fight a good fight all the way to the end
Go for what I know and on myself depend
