This Time

This time I close my eyes
But now they're opened wide
To all of the things that blind
To all of the things that obscure my sight

This time I face the truth
To all of the obstacles thrown in plain view
To all of the visible clues
Of everything I have to lose

This time I can breathe
Now the air is clear and clean
For a future I can believe
Now my soul is truly free
