This Time
We grew up together
seems like forever
When first we met
we two.
It was years ago
how could we know
what paths our lives
would take.
But now it's the future
Old wounds we'll suture
its' time we joined
we two
Old pains they will dwindle
Our love now rekindled
We knew just what it
would take.
We will do what we two
know just what to do
To get back together
except this time forever
No mistake will we make
we know what it takes
to make this love so sublime
I promise, my love
My heart promised to you
Now and for the rest of all time.
