This Scene of Dreamlike Bliss
Beautiful the fields
and the sunlight in the sky.
Down across the hillside
a man with his dog walk by.
There's something about the quiet
that draws me to a place like this.
No hint of frenzied movement
at this scene of dreamlike bliss.
The wind blows through the valley
and the flags dance in it's might.
Aside from this, all else is still
beneath the sun's bright light.
Trees standing in the distance,
yet of leaves, they remain bare.
Green pines standing around them
lift branches high in the air.
Glorious is this Sunday morn
with beauty everywhere to behold.
Another day newly born
comes forth with wonders so bold.
