This Romeo Is Bleeding

This Romeo is bleeding but you don't see his blood." - Bon Jovi's Always

This romeo is bleeding but you don't see his blood
but were it visible it would be so in a flood.

The times spent wrapped in life with you made me feel a stud
then came fate's blow rendering my heart dead with a thud.

My senses still all function though none remain engaged.
Blood may not be displayed but mine hot spills enraged.

For me, my best dream had bloomed from a real time bud
only to then be drowned in a nightmare's heartbreak mud.

Very emotive write CayCay--every verse has the saddened sound of heartbreak, just as intended. Apt for the contest theme. All the best.
