This Poem Has Been Done Before
I wrote a poem that I won't post on soup,
it's to rude to include and once before I was removed,
but someone told me, it's very similar to a poem done before,
a write I'd never read, one from before the second world war.
My poem, to me, was original,
my poem, to me, was individual,
but it got ridiculed as though I'd stole like a criminal.
It was based on true events,
but that made no difference,
because it wasn't solid evidence,
so they said I stole the contents.
So without me knowing of a once famous poem,
I managed to clone a potentially famous poem of my own,
but someone else from a different time,
will coincidentally write a poem like mine
and become famous and fine dine.
So this poem now has already been done,
your new one too, was done by someone,
nothing we write is really new
and you wrote a famous poem, but no one ever knew.
