This Place
My mind has music from the 80’s circulating my ears
I was a kid then and I saw the world differently
I still dream and remember how I use to view the world
It saddens me how so wrong I was
I hold on to that childhood and this world In front of me sickens me
This sickness leads to disappointment to never fully be happy
Ive been happy but only temporary, it doesn’t seem to stay long
I remember things most people forget
Im the product of why you shouldn’t remember everything in life or hold on
I remember a place where its peaceful, where there is no pain,
A place where the music and love rains everyday
A place I can get lost in my thoughts and music
A place where my creativity flow and glow all around me
This place make your insides feel cleansed and refreshed
A place I yearn to return
This place has been called many things but it’s a place where your soul is free
